Machines making machines! How perverse.

u/zombiesandtoys is going all out with 3D printing! This is an IG droid they made at full scale, with incredible detail! This assassin droid that first appeared as one of the bounty hunters in The Empire Strikes Back has since become a huge part of the saga with other appearances. According to zombiesandtoys It stands over 7’ and used around 13-15 rolls of filament. Total completion time was around 4 months.

The 3D printing professionals at Aceaddity Official Group along with YouBentMyWookie are sponsoring his next droid-building project.

Beginning in October, YBMW will feature updates of the droid build progress including pictures and instructional videos. If you have ever been curious about how to transform a bunch of saved files into a replica robot, this will be a fun journey. I will be building an SE-2 (Essie) droid from Star Wars Rogue One using a design created by Droid Division Print Club.

Information, updates, and videos will be shared on the social media channels of Aceaddity and YBMW. Of course, everything will be posted here, on The Droid Garage. Witness in real time as I attempt to do what I enjoy while not embarrassing myself as I watch an entire project go up in flames!
