Fan Fiction Friday
This week we are featuring Young_and_spitefilled, a new up-and-coming writer who has already released several works in the past few months! Here’s an excerpt from from one of their works:
There was not much known about the Taung.
Oh, the rest of the Galaxy had ancient depictions and holos of what they were believed to have looked like, but even in the last days of their existence, the Taung had been notoriously elusive, and camera shy. Few were ever digitally documented, especially photographically, and Mandalore had long since done away with stating the species of the Manda’lor of the Era.
That, of course, made knowing much about Mandalore and its peoples very tricky. When asked, interesting discrepancies in genetics and behaviour was simply explained away as ‘My Taung ancestor,’ but the explanation had begun to lose its potency. It had worked for Jango Fett, on Kamino, to explain muscle fibres, and brain anomalies, and it never occurred to the Banite Sith that basing a clone army on a template whose biology is undecipherable is a bad idea. At least.
